Well, not quite what I had in mind.

For the past couple weeks I have been trying to organize this month's photowalk. As I had mentioned in a previous post, I narrowed the selection down to three potential locations. I heard from some, weighed the options, and was seriously leaning toward the downtown tour. I was leaning that way because I had a special trip in mind and I have come oh so close to realizing it.

You see, I have always loved the architecture of the Hippodrome. I think it's a classic early-20th century specimen with tons of visual interest. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that. In planning this photowalk, I contacted the Hippodrome management and asked if we could have access to the interior during our walk. How cool would that be? Well, I heard back, and the news wasn't all bad.

The person I contacted told me that they wouldn't have a problem opening the venue for us, but weekends aren't good for them. I was asked if we could do it sometime during the week. Now, I really would love to shoot the building, and might be willing to set up two walks this month just to see this through. I would like to know a couple things, though.

Is there enough interest in shooting the Hippodrome sometime during the week of 9/28?

Since it would be scheduled for a weekday, would it be necessary to organize another walk for a weekend?

Please let me know what opinions are so I can get this rolling fairly quickly.
